North Huntingdon EMS/Rescue (Rescue 8) is not taxpayer funded. We are a self-supporting service; therefore, we rely on insurance payments, donations, grants and our annual subscription drive to support our mission.
Non-Emergency Ambulance Transportation:
(Must meet medical necessity criteria)- Hospital To Hospital
- Hospital To Nursing Home or Personal Care Home
- Hospital To Home
- Kidney Dialysis
- Home To Hospital (Outpatient or Inpatient Procedures)
- Any Transport Meeting Medical Necessity Criteria
Non-Emergency Ambulance Transport Costs
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Transport: $650.00
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) Transport: $1000.00
- Loaded Mileage: $15 per mile
Emergency Ambulance TransportsThe following fees apply to emergency calls/transports only.
- Basic Life Support (BLS): $850.00
- Advanced Life Support 1 (ALS): $1050.00
- Advanced Life Support 2 (ALS): $1300.00
(usually life threatening emergencies)
